Today I riff on a documentary I watched by ENDEVR called Living Forever Through AI: Digital Immortality and the Future of Death. Not only does it cover the concept of living forever through an AI avatar of yourself, along with a digital copy of your consciousness ie. a "mind file", we also cover the Terasem religion. A Transhumanist religion or a Transreligion, Terasem hopes to usher in the new utopian society of the future using technology, enlightenment and love. All this begging the question, what is consciousness? and "As scientists at the forefront of technology show that a world where humans and machines merge isn’t so far away, we have to ask ourselves will AI be the best or the last thing we ever do?"
